Raranga Matihiko
I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE Video!!!
Kia Ora today i'm going to tell you what we experinced during our mahi (work) we were doing when we were at the museum because we were learning how to put our video in a movie there was music, effects to how we can change our background there were a lot of steps so we had to listen very very carefully as you can see there is writing under hear make sure you check it out!!!!
On thursday the 4th of April, Our akomangaTe puna wairua we went to the museum the trip 100% FREE. But when we arrived we were making movies with the items we were using at the museum. The technologies names were mixed reality, the green screen, 3D painter, tinka cad and Virtual reality, stop motion, Our kaiako names were wheau Waimiiria, wheau Stacy and wheau Pupuri. When we were with the kaiako's came to our kura. Tamaki Primary but also they were teaching us how to put our pepeha in a movie. We were doing it because we want to tell people what our pepeha is. When we were finished doing doing our pepeha we had to present it in front of the whole class it was embarrassing 😰 for me because when I was walking to stand in front of the class to say my pepeha I was nervous as heck. I was also scared because when I was standing I was very very shy then... But when I was standing I was starting to speak but I wasn't doing well at all. It was because I was feeling shy, embarrassed, nervous.

Kupe and his Travels
Kupe and his Travels
Kupe was traveling to defeat the huge dangerous wheke/Kraken. To confuse the wheke he threw calabashes into the sea in which the wheke rose from the depths of the ocean to kill and eat what he thought were dead bodies. As the wheke rose to the top Kupe lashed out with a patu and struck a blow to his head. While he was out fighting his daughters thought that he had been killed so they went into mourning buy slashing their chest. The rocks turned red because they were stained with their Blood which Kupe named Pari Whero in remembrance of the love that his daughters had for him. They were so surprised and filled with joy when they saw their dad.
Kupe then off to sail the other side of the South island but first he named two small islands after his daughters Matiu and Makaro which is called Somes island and Ward island.
Along his travels around the other side of the South Island he came across a river and decided to name it Wanganui river. In the river there was a white gleaming stone that they never have seen before and he named that stone poumanu which in turn was a greenstone. It was time to leave to go back to his homeland Kupe one day was going to make a waka for his people back in Hawaiki so as they could come back to this beautiful land of lush greenery and live there. As soon Kupe arrived back in his homeland the people were full of question about his adventure.

Rā Maumahara
Like this women she helped her husband and he was in a wheelchair. And she lost her own life. I am feeling happy but at the sametime I am happy because the people that have passed away are in heaven.
I am sad because the person that killed the 50 people didn’t have love. My message is that the people that have passed away i just wanna say that they have left you beautiful memories and they will always be in your heart.
People have sacrificed their lives for there loved ones because they loved them very very much.

all about me 2019
(Kia ora) ko Azaleigha tōku ingoa
I go to Tāmaki Primary Kura and I am 9 years old. My culture is Māori and Pākeha. My classroom name is Te puna wairua. In my family I have my Māmā, Pāpā, three brothers and one sister. As a learner I find some of my work hard and some of it easy at the same time. I am good at running and I enjoy music. My learning challenge is Maths. My goal for this year is to learn Māori fluently.I’m looking forward to be learning Māori. I’m achieved in learning Māori little by little. Māori helps me because I can use them to tell my family the words i have learnt from school.

what is the difference between a active, dormant extinct volcano
A active volcano is a volcano that has erupted in 10,000 years ago which is a very very very long time. A dormant Volcano is a Volcano that is sleeping but they will wake up because they are going to erupt. The dormant volcano will consistently erupt until there is no more lava in a dormant Volcano. A extinct volcano is a Volcano that won’t erupt because it has no more lava in a volcano like Mt Wellington that is a extinct volcano so it is safe to climb it and also to walk around it therefore it won’t erupt again.

Title: The magnetic field is what protect Earth from the fireballs from shooting to earth the is why we got a magnetic field if we did not we have it then we would be dead by now.
What is Earth's Magnetic Field?
Imagine a bubble that surrounds Earth. Earth's magnetic field acts like an invisible shield around Earth that protects it from dangerous things, like radiation from the sun. You might say it's Earth's super power. It's also called a magnetosphere, the most remote part of a planet's atmosphere. Earth's magnetic field's power begins at Earth's core. Let's learn more about how it and what it does. The inner and outer core of Earth is made of the metals iron and nickel. The inner core is a huge, solid, metal ball, and a liquid form of the metals flows around it, making up the outer core. The two cores spin and create magnetism. Imagine a giant magnet bar on the inside of the Earth. Now imagine a giant fountain flowing out of the north and south poles of the magnet. The magnetic fountain is always working because of the earth's core!!
What Does It Do?
The magnetosphere protects Earth from solar radiation, which is energy given off from the sun. When dangerous radiation from the sun comes toward Earth, the magnetic field bounces that energy back into space. If we didn't have a strong magnetic field, our planet would overheat, the oceans would evaporate, and life on Earth would be destroyed. Other places like the moon and Mars don't have strong magnetic fields, and this is one reason they don't have oceans.
How Does It Work?
A magnet bar has two poles: north and south. If you had two magnets in your hand and you tried to put both north ends together, what would happen? They would repel and be forced apart. The same thing would happen if you tried to put both south ends together. The earth's core is like two magnet bars repelling from one another. Since Earth is in constant motion, the repelling just goes around and around Earth in a big circle. The circle gets bigger the further the force gets away from Earth.
